03' 3.6l and IMS....Problems?

mikefocke Registered User Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Sanford NC Posts: 2,591	What kind of a 3.6? There are 3.6s that received the LN kit which strengthens the cylinder liners. Or 3.6s from a 911. Or maybe done with other parts. Before buying, learn what is really in the engine. Were there any upgrades done when the install was done? What ECU the thing is using? Any mods to the smog equipment that would cause you inspection concerns in your state?
