The IMS bearing can fail without warning, especially if you have the later single row bearing. You should be concerned if this is a single row bearing. Is there oil on the floor in the morning?
Where are you based? There is an excellent specialist who will replace your clutch, IMS bearing and RMS for £1500 called Revolution Porsche. Have a look on Boxa.net
Forgot to ask what year and model Boxster you have.
