I've thought about doing that. However, by the time I'm done sourcing my own high end stainless steel mufflers and hardware, to include piping so I can eliminate the small 1.75 diameter cat delete pipes, and then find a fabricator who is capable of mandrel bending and welding everything together precisely, I've either met or exceeded the cost of a custom catback.

Similar to my exhaust, mines spitting out all the wadding. I've done about 500 miles since it was fitted. I welded different tail pipes on and I think it might of burnt some of the wadding. Every time I put my foot down I see a cloud appear behind my car and the back of the car is covered in fluff. Do you think it might stop soon or anyone else have this.

I'm surprised to hear that any aftermarket catback would have wadding. That's one of the major drawbacks to the oem exhaust. This what the oem muffler contains.

Yeah, I've heard that Fibreglass packing doesn't last, SS packing holds up better. Even then, some types hold up better than others, with SS "scrubble" holding up better than various grade of SS wool.

These folks produce some great stainless steels mufflers as well. And, they're right in NJ.

Went to a rolling road day yesterday with a friend . When it came to my run everyone came to watch. They soon left, the guy standing next to me I was talking to had a blue jumper at the start, by the end it was white. It was soo imbarasing people had it in there hair. By the time I got home yesterday the back box was empty.
I've bought a nice magnex system. Don't know if you get this brand in the US.
