There's a wire that isn't really used on your new head unit and it should be grounded to the chassis, duplicating the grounding it recieves when plugged into the old factory head unit.

Mine chirps too when the alarm is set, but I like it so I'm leaving it the way it is. I never could hear the doors lock all the time and the horn beep is helpful to me.

Which wire that would be I do not really know. But someone on this forum or Renntech does! Do a search on aftermarket stereo installation and you'll find threads that discuss this very issue and how to aleviate it.
