I recently put a pioneer navigation/stereo in my car and had the same problem. I went to the dealership and had them make me a copy of the actually wiring diagram to the factory radio and alaram.

Pull out the radio and on the left side (drivers side) there is a cable that connects to the chasis of the stock radio which is not removeable. Just unplug that cable and that will slove your problem. There is no need to ground it or anything just unplug it.

Let me know if it works out or if u need more detail.
