... the Boxster's power brakes use excess vacuum from the engine to help with the pressure required to apply the brakes.
The vacuum comes from from the engine, via a long plastic hose routed up the side of the vehicle, into the frunk, and plugs into the large round brake boost canister that the master cylinder attaches to behind the frunk's carpet lining, on the driver's side.
