Stick E gas sensor

I have been batteling a sticky throttle since I bought my 2002 S. I love the car, and have done just about all the upgrades/maintenance I wanted to do when I bought it. One item remains, it has a sticky noisy throttle. I thought it was the pedel, but after removing the pedel I can tell it is in the E gas sensor. Has anyone attempted to lubricate this little animal? It is a sealed component. Perhaps I could coax some lube into it. Any suggestions?
