Sticky E gas sensor update
A quick update. I was debating re installing the old E gas sensor until I can get a new/used part. I got to looking at the old part. The top end has a seal about 4mm from the end. it is a square o ring. I removed the o ring and could see the case and the top are two diffrent pieces. What do I have to loose, right? I removed the top and there inside is a pot (or hall effect sensor) Below the pot I can see the inner workings of the spring mechanism. There is a little space I can get lube to the squeely parts. I used a white spray grease and with just a bit, the part works like new. I reassembled and reinstalled. No faults, no problems and my sticky throttle is fixed! I now am the proud owner of a 99642302904 genuine Porsche pedal, E gas AT Tiptronic. I paid $355.82 but will part for any reasonable offer.
