A/C Display

I have a 2004 S 550 SE. The a/c display is half gone so I bought one on ebay last year for $185 that display is not perfect plus it was also out of an earlier year 986 so had a differrent finish to it. So now I have 2 displays that work fine but don't display ! Does anybody have a late model that displays correctly or know if you can source a replacement LCD for the unit ??

ModuleMaster

I have used these guys before to rebuild an Audi A4 ABS module and was very pleased with the product and service.

I've used this product as well. It has great instructions and is easy to do.

The only very slight caveat is that the icons are Audi rather than Porsche, at least they were a couple of years ago when I did it. Personally I don't care, but some people might.

hah. awesome. i was about to ask if anyone had any experience with them. sadly over the past month my display has gone downhill rapidly. i don't know how i feel about the icons on the new display though (at least the ones in the installation picture). does it at least still say "manuell" - i kind of like that.

and then a few weeks later:
