Don't take guesses as to how much oil you dropped or how much to put in. Oil level is crucial, and you have a digital gauge and a dipstick to check. All the bars in the digital display represents only about the last 1.5 quarts of oil, so if you still had 1 bar showing, that means you should only have added a little over one quart, not 5! You can really damage the engine by overtopping that much. Take the time to correctly measure what's in there so that you don't totally screw up your engine.

If I were you, I'd totally drain the oil and start from scratch, so you know exactly how much is in there. If you can't wait a week to run your car, go to a dealer to pick a canister up.
