99 w/Full Body Kit - Opinions Wanted
I have recently completed installing a full Body Kit on my 99. I also painted the entire car. I wanted some opinions as to the entire look but mostly the screens in the front and rear ends as well as the side openings. I left them silver to be different as most are painted black. Let me know what you think. Thank you, Jerry Peterson
NOTE: Sorry about the quality of the first photo's, I re-uploaded better ones!

Not bad I was just jokin around i knew something about the photo was messed up. did you do the work yourself or did have a shop do it.
personally im not a fan of chrome mesh for the air intakes (that is just a personal preference). but it still looks like a good job the roll bars help tie it all in.

It may just be the lighting but the silver on the front was just a little too much for me, the rear bumper looked good. If it was me I would probably paint the screens graphite so the front grills aren't screaming "look at me" quite as much.
You will probably have a lot of traditional Porsche enthusiasts not care for the overall look but I applaud your individuality

Not to my taste, but if you like it, that's all that matters...

If you go with a darker mesh and get clear headlights and tails, I think it would look just fine.

I like the kit (sans the rear wing). Paint the mesh flat black all the way around... and buy some roll bar inserts!

Not my taste either - at all. I agree with OPs, tone those front grills way down with graphite or maybe even black.
Hope you don't have any steep driveways to go up or down because that low nose is going to get the crap scratched out of it. And watch out for those concrete parking space bumpers.

I agree, paint the mesh flat black or ditch it alltogether.
Hard to tell from the pictures, but your car could use some lowering springs. I would replace the wheels, they arent agressive enough for the rest of the car or at least install spacers. Otherwise looks good

Go with the graphite suggestion. Silver is too commanding visually but flat black would look too cave like where the graphite would be visible but more subtle. Personally I am not a fan of ANY side skirts as they look clumsy and a afterthought add-on plus the extra weight on a car where none is needed. These cars are tough to improve on visually without making them look too rice. Rear wings are strictly a 'taste' item but I like the fact I don't have to see the thing and it only appears when needed. IMHO nothing more, nothing less.

Have never seen a full body kit which I thought complimented the car. They always look like they're tacked on and not intergral to the body. As far as yours goes, since you asked, I think all you're missing is the 'Fart Can'.
The Boxster has a really great design, one which is hard to improve upon. To be honest, I've never seen any tack-on aftermarket part which does. But of course that is just MHO.
Obviously, you like it and that's all good. But, then you don't need any affirmation from this group.
Some will like it, others won't - all opinions. Some will be too PC to give you their honest appraisal one way, or the other. The only opinion which truly counts is your own.
Cheers!
