I believe Bill's nearly free flow exhausts were painfully loud. He has documented the 15hp gain in a certain rpm range. I don't think anybody would want those exhausts on the street however - it's almost like no exhaust at all.

I got caught in a gaggle of SpecBoxsters at Thunderhill during practice session and I just had to slow down and let them pass (they would have anyway) - I couldn't hear anything but BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. Get a group of them together and you can't even hear yourself think.
