When you look for the fine print it usually says: muffler, cat back pipes, headers / sport cats, cold air intake and Chip programming. You add all that stuff up and I think 32 lbs sound about right.
For me it is more about sound. I am one of those louder is better people. On my old 930 Turbo the exhaust was so loud, my wife told me she could hear me 1/2 mile away  I loved it.
