yeah, that wouldn't fit.....

oddly, my manual (downloaded from renntech) shows the 18 x 10 with an ET of 47, which WOULD fit a boxster. 65mm is the 996 offset for that wheel. it would be nice if this were an acceptable wheel combination.....

i bet since it's listed in the manual, some organizations might buy off on it as being okay....

I was looking in the shop manual. I just downloaded the owners manual. You may be right, it may be sufficient for some organizations. Hm...
