That's what I was trying to tell you guys in my first post. If you actually watch the second video that I specified by title you would have seen them point out that the O2 sensor bungs are in OEM locations. Fabspeed makes a great product. As for their customer service follow up that's a whole another story. You are better off calling them than expecting and email response.

Thanks Socal. I didn't watch the second vid which explains a lot more. I took a look at che's 00-04 headers and they don't have a high flow cat or a second set of bungs. Looks like a CEL nightmare. What are we suppossed to do with our second set of 02 sensors Che?

Hit the nail on the head. The DME is going to be really pissed off if it doent get a signal from the second set of O2s showing effiicient catalyst performance.

Now, I do wonder if "O2 simulators" could be used for the latter set of O2s to make the DME think all is fine and dandy. A lot of the guys with big power rice burners (Turbo's Zs, Subaru WRXs and STIs, Mitsubishi EVOs, etc) go this route and it seems to work, so I wonder if it could apply here?

My 2000 Boxster S has the "warm-up pre-cats" at the headers and then a second set of Cats closer to the muffler. According to FabSpeed the secondary Cats near the muffler are "Deleteable" and when you use their 2ndary Cat by-pass pipes to eliminate them you will have no problem passing emissions inspection and no CEL. I have to call them and ask what you are supposed to do with the O2 sensors and wires that attach to the 2ndary CATs.

I have deleted the secondary cats without a problem to the O2 sensor on my car, and I believe your as well, has all O2 sendors on the headers before and after the primary cat.

The bypass pipes are cool, neat sound and maybe a little more power.

I have the cat back bypass pipes from fabspeed they are great. No cel at all havn't gone for smog check yet I have a bud that does smogs they turn away most Boxsters cause they cant access the engine so when its smog time visual shouldnt be a prob. The o2 sensors are in the front cats no worries. I would recommend the bypass pipes the exhaust sounds so much better and there is some performance gain at least I can feel a difference.

Next are the headers from fabspeed. I had to have my manifolds welded up already I guess its common for them to crack. Anyway it was alot cheaper to have them welded then get new ones 2500 is alot of bucks.
