Meanwhile, Chevy offers a 990hp Camaro...

In the continuing one upmanship game of factory horsepower, reports say that you can now order a Chevy Camaro from selected dealers with 990hp!

Good thing that I am secure in my 201 horsepower or I might be feeling a little bit inadequate.

I used to be all about cars having more horsepower but we are way beyond anything truly usable. I grew up in a era when 200 horsepower was a lot. I remember when the 964 came out and it had 250 hp and thinking wow that's nuts. I'm to a point where anytime there's a story about a car getting more horsepower it draws a big yawn.

Ford has one in the works too, according to a member on here who works for ford. I'm happy to see them have HP wars with each other, but I'd be more excited if they were having the same battle but with electric power

And I'd still rather have my first car, a 65 Impala that had 170hp...but hey that was at the wheel...so I had that going for me.

nothing goes around corners like a LEO...with a 48liter V12 and 1500hp @ 2600rpm

I guess, that would be my choice
