My first Porsche!

I sold my '91 Miata SE (BRG) 4 years ago and have missed the 2 seater experience during our short but beautiful Rochester summers. After looking at a few Z4's I found this cherry '99 Boxster Same tan color interior but black. The wife and I fell immediately in love!

So much more comfortable, solid and powerful than my Miata.

Are these upgrade wheels?

Just found owners manual and original price sticker. This has Sport Package. Someone told me these wheels don't look OEM.

Nice find and welcome to the club!

The wheels appear to be the OEM Porsche Sport Classics (my personal favorite)

Yep, Sport Classics. I have the same on my car; beautiful, but a bit of a PITA to clean. I wouldn't change them, though. Welcome to forum!!

Really nice Boxster, the tan interior looks great against black and the wheels look really sharp also, well done & good health to enjoy it.

Would love to take this on the Glen. Are there any events where that's possible?

If you are interested in some track time consider contracting
Our local Porsche club. Or the SCCA Google them for links to
Their websites. The porsche group may offer a Car Control Clinic
And DE. Drive Education sessions. The SCCA is currently running
Events call track nights across the country.

Enjoy and welcome whatever you decide to do.

Not for your car.
The twin pipe mufflers came stock on the 3.2 cars, that is, if it is a stock twin pipe muffler.
I think it is an aftermarket twin pipe unit, because the pipes stick out past the bumper cover.
Mine are flush.

Not best pic but looks like single pipe muffler - or is that a second muffler?

Definitely.
Here's what a factory muffler looks like.

They're huge!
Your two can muffler probably sounds amazing and has great volume, but resonates like crazy around 2-3k.
That's what made me ditch my aftermarket unit and find a factory muffler.

Just enjoy that ride of yours, it's right sweet looking.
