Watch Out Johnny Danger
I no longer have to do this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3VxuWT6Dk0
I have finally gotten my new car. A 2000 Speed yellow S 6 speed! 88k miles and all the right options!
Options include: Hard top, sports package, supple leather, the storage tray with speakers, yellow stitching, full leather, litronics, and 18 inch turbo twists. I am very blessed and privileged to be this cars current caretaker, I really loved the old car and hope to own another 2.5 for fun down the road some time. However, the new car is a huge improvement over the last! Still getting the manual down pat, I mentally have things right, but things are physically difficult with size 14 shoes haha. Should be to a viable point within a week or so. Anyways, now I just need my own danger girls with the attention that the speed yellow brings it seems as if that would be an easy task haha. To be fair though, this car has a different style than the danger-mobile, I prefer to think of it as a modern, not as fast, Yellowbird

Speed yellow is even more likely to attract the local authorities than guards red. Hehe.

Congratulations Jake! Very nice step up and obviously a well cared for Boxster. Nice options, you have done well. Pretty soon shifting will be second nature and is a skill every young person should master IMO. Your buddy at school is not going to be happy with the outcome

Nice. Welcome from a fellow Speed Yellow nerd. It's a fantastic color. Had the girl out this weekend on a small vacation with my wife and she attracted all sorts of fun attention. Enjoy.

Congrats Jake!
Looks like you got one that has a few of the mods already done....bonus!
The shifting is a matter of practice.
I've driven stick cars for 35+ years and it still took ~5 months of daily driving to feel like I was nailing the shifts perfectly up and down the gears. Now its smooth and fast like a Porsche is supposed to be driven.

Drive it to school, and park as close to full view as you can. It will be fine

Yah right, fine just like his first Boxster was . Kids can do nasty things with keys or a knife if so inclined, and being in "full view" won't stop them.

Good one Jake. Looks like you got yourself a very sweet ride
And being bright yellow, it should make it easier to see by the morons in big trucks
