Plastidip Wheels - You Vote
Today I plastidipped my silver track wheels to black. I have always wanted to see what black wheels would like like on my arctic silver car with black interior and trim.
The process was pretty easy as others have already documented. The finish looks pretty nice upclose. Of course, there is no confusing it with a professional powder coat finish but pretty darn good for $8 a wheel.
And yes, if I stay with black I'l get the black wheel bolts.
Let me know what you think by voting above.

Is it just me or are those front rotors scored? The black wheels look tuff. Should try a bit of striping around the outside of the rim. Nothing big, just like pin stripe, if you don't like pull it off.

Black... Makes it look like it's ready for the track.

I think your sign "go back" says it all unless you can get a shine on that black somehow. I almost went gloss black with a polished chrome lip when I replaced my wheels.

Yes, the front rotors are pretty well scored. I plan to replace the rotors and the pads after my track day next weekend at Willow Springs.

Best of both worlds.
Driver's side black, other side silver.

I was thinking about doing the same thing to my stock twists that I use for the track. I'm just debating on black or white, my regular wheels are black (Porsche sport classic ii) and my car is white.
Your wheels look awesome, now I am doing it for sure!

Seems to give it an aggressive track look...if you are happy that is what counts the most.

I photoshopped black twists onto a white box and didn't like it...maybe with a white lip.
I'd like to see white as well, but I think some titanium 5 spokes might look the best. Still torn, but I'm not real thrilled with the stock silver and mine came with free curb rash when I bought it, so I need to do something.

I am going to the track tomorrow. Weather forecast is 90F so I'll be interested to see how well the Plastidip holds up with combined brake and weather heat.
