Who wants something 3D Printed?
I have a 3D printer. I have CAD skills. I have not yet used said 3D printer with said CAD skills together as much as I would have liked. Therefore...
Please let me know what you guys want and I will:
1. Design
2. Post prototype pics
3. Make
4. Accept a nominal fee
5. Mail the thing to you
One Rule:
1. Whatever you want, it must fit into a cube measuring 210mm x 210mm x 205mm.
Aaaaaaaaaaaand go!

me first!!! i need a blanking plate for my left and right side mirrors. ie, if you remove the mirrors, i need a trim piece to put in their place to provide a finished appearance. intent is to fasten a much lighter mirror onto the piece. possible? i can forward you a spare mirror for dimensions, etc., if needed.

Ashtray delete cubby storage insert . Cubby storage shelf to replace where the factory cup holders are , in my 02 S that is the very top space of the center console right under the vents . Black would be great and thanks for the offer to make some parts .

Do the mesh type rollbar insert wind defectors. They break like crazy, and they're stupid expensive for what they are. Make a bunch of sets at a reasonable price and you'll sell them like hotcakes.

Roll bar mesh inserts won't fit in a 210x210mm square, not to mention that 3D prints of them would not hold up well (too much stress, not solid enough). Best to just make these out of perforated aluminum sheets.
I've thought about doing the mirror cover and I'm missing one, but the pivot pins would have to take a lot of stress and twisting force. I do think they could be done, if done right.
An ashtray delete insert is a great idea.

I looked into getting the mesh made and molds are typically $10,000 each. So you're looking at $20,000 before you even start popping them out

It definitely won't fit in a 210x210 square, but MIGHT just fit in a 210x210x205 cube if the design is wedged into opposite corners. However, the support structure necessary to actually print the thing like that (if at all possible on a typical home unit) may make it far more complex to design and print and a pain to clean up and smooth out. And, you are probably correct with the longevity, but it might be interesting to try if someone is looking for a challenging project.

OK:
1. Mirror blanks - what type of mirror do you want to mount?
2. Cup holder for centre armrest - this should be easy to start on.
3. Mesh Windscreens - I don't have example parts to go off of. Can someone send pics of the various parts that make it up?

I need a small enclosure for an arduino device I am building, let me get another prototype going, but it is going to be an Adafruit feather with a featherwing stacked on top, and a tiny OLED display. Should be pretty small.

I think an interesting concept would be to print the clear headlight inner lens. I dont think the fdm process can get them to be clear due to the way it builds up, so if you have an SLA printer with clear resin it would be awesome + id be happy to buy a set from you
