I have a set of Halogen units that would be a good core set for a retrofit. PM me if you're interested.

But the last post before your ::bump:: was only a few weeks ago, with someone trying to sell a set. They may be specifically responding to that post.

Jus' sayin' ....... ;-)

Ah, I missed that. I guess I should take my own advice and read. Post removed.

You likely need to clean or replace your headlight switch.

BOO!

Terry, long time mate. Nah haven't disappeared but not far off. Life, you know... get busy, then overbusy, then swamped, to get smack by the tax bureau for over performing (and forgetting), lost almost everything, started-all-over-again, not once but TWICE! Keeps me docile and out of trouble 14h/day sometime 16h now I tell ya LOL

You serious? you looking for a set cuz I think I might have a few parts left here, I'm sure I could spare you one set (UK side) if we're both lucky.

Yay! He's back!

Fred, I hope you're back on your feet and stay out of trouble.

If there's another round of Fred's Projectors coming, sign me up!

Oh man, 'trouble' is my middle name. Not locked up but got close when the tax bureau dropped by the shop back in mid Jan '19, the time I was most busy with machines running 24/7 for two oem. I now do log all assets, tools, and job contracts lol. Got hit pretty badly + a fine where most if not all of the '18's profits disappeared overnight :/ My fault, new at this game so... yea, playing that good boy thing now and 'comply' (40+ something years later, finally got the message lol).

Paul I really can't promise anything right now, just catching up with all of this makes me realize there could be some demand. Give me a few weeks to think about that and I might come up with a plan. Problem is the production machines... they are all set-up for someone else and running daily on these customers' parts. Could certainly outsource but as you know those parts will end up costing you and I both a bloody fortune. Need time to look at option(s) and I'll update as soon as I find a solution to this lil problem.

Good to hear from you and see that you are still here! Happy New Year to you!

This only works one of two ways, Fred; either have to say, “sorry, no longer in production”, or go into full on kit building mode.

I have a backlog of several hundred email inquiries for these.

You're kind of a legend to some of us "newer" (relatively) peeps.
As a matter of fact: aren't you ALSO the guy responsible for those bad-ass wheel center caps that I've managed to score a couple sets of from this forum?

Anyway.... glad you're good, and glad you're here!

You Serious Charles? or you are just trying to cheer me up... if that's accurate then let me ask my boss what she think about freeing up a mill & lathe for a full month. Man what if she says 'sure, go ahead' lol yikes... are you still willing to install them if friends needs your help with that?

Maytag - stop it lol I'm no legend here trust me on that one, all the kits you've seen here were put together with the help, knowledge and support from members so... thanks this forum for allowing us. In fact this forum and all of its members on its own "is the legend", if you ask me. You are part of it now

Alive and healthy, oh yea! Kicking? hmm, medium kicks lol
Lesson learnt, Jay. Pushing beyond 'the rules' is just buying extra time, always comes back to hit you. Some takes over 40 years to learn that basic stuff (go figure man), some harder than others. Walking straight on that China narrow line now I tell ya (strike 1 completed, read 'no second chance')

Hope all is good with you too and the fast cars are taken care of. Bet you must have 3 (or 4, more) Porsche now
