Driving lights-Cayman style

I wanted driving lights but not the typical led lights everyone is doing. I really like the type lights integrated in the Cayman's grill so I found some at the local Autozone that fit the bill. Cut the grills just enough to fit them in. They are not wired in yet but thanks to several posts it shouldn't be a problem

That's going to cut some airflow to the rads...

Think so? I wouldn't think it would be that much since they are stuck in the corners.

The radiator fans will come on if more cooling is required so I wouldn't worry much about the reduced intake area unless your into racing.

Nice driving light instal; any tips on mounting and wiring ?

The mounting was pretty straight forward. I cut just enough grill to hold the light housing and drilled a mounting hole for the bracket. I ran the wiring up to the headlight housing and attached the ground wire to a bolt. The positive is run underneath the seal to the battery area. There is a hole behind the battery that I fished the wire through to the dash floor. I got power from the fuse panel at the heated seats fuse and connected to the switch. That way the lights only come on when the ignition is switched on.
