If you have an '03 or '04 with the removable tips, there is no reason why you should do this mod now! It is free, it sounds good, it is free, it is easy, did I mention that it is free. It didn't make a huge difference in sound, but it does sound better. It is a little louder and has a more grumble to it. It is not at all over powering, resonating, or annoying.
