This is my old car....

https://okaloosa.craigslist.org/cto/d/2000-porsche-boxter/6709785208.html

I have not spoke to the seller since he purchased the car from me on July 5th. He has added 6K miles since his purchase.

I owned this car for 10 years and have all the maintenance records since 2008. No, I did not do the IMS etc but the car was 100% great with no issues.

Someone should buy this car!! It is too much car for the money. Everything worked on the car...no leaks or weird noises. I can tell you that it is tempting to buy it back. I bought a 2003 911 Cab with 65K miles...got a great deal at $19.1K. It is a great car but the Box is (was) just as much fun for a third of the price.

I'm not posting this for the seller...I can't even remember his name. It's just that this car needs to be out being enjoyed by a new owner.

Garage kept? check
Top with glass window? check
Good tire/brakes? check
Coolant tank? check
Water pump/thermostat and coolant flush? check
All fluids up to date? check (with the P stuff for coolant and gearbox)
plugs, tubes, O-rings? check
Ignition switch, headlight switch? check
wheel bearings, drop links, outer tie rods, front control arms, rear track arms? check

You get the idea....

Oh Man. $6500 is a steal for that car.

I agree, not just as the prior owner but I know how solid this car was. I doubt new owner could have "screwed it up" in just a few months!

Close! Bay County. Still the worlds most beautiful beaches, even after hurricane Michael!

A good hurricane is good for cleaning the water, that was a bad one though.

Not sure about what a 'good hurricane' is unless defined as one that doesn't hit you! We're fine and still had almost $50K worth of damage to our house....a drop in the bucket compared to the folks to the east of us...

It's been 2 months since he listed this car so it's probably sold but I'm very interested, not getting any response from the emails I sent. no phone# listed. Dghii do you still have a contact# for this guy? Thanks.

Unfortunately, 140,050 miles is a lot of miles and it brings the value down considerably. Especially when replacement 3.2's are hard to find and pricy.

$6,500 is a fair price for a car that is likely to need a lot of work over the next few years. The seller is most likely getting out before the big bills come due.
