Boxster Race Car: Step 1

Just bought a 1997 Boxster with a blown engine to use as the chassis for a Spec Boxster. $2900. Will move the engine/trans, CV's, suspension, and all of the BSX components over to it from my wrecked 986. Work will be done by Eric523 and the Hergesheimer Motor Sports team in Orange County. Let the build begin!

You know, I have to admit that I did not realize the irony until you pointed that out!

Great to have another spec Boxster on the way. Last weekends Circuit of the Americas (Austin TX) Clubrace had 25+ SpecBoxsters entered including 2 Californians. 26 would have only made it more fun. Look forward to seeing you and your car out there.

Laurie.
