I still have the original cv axles and was planning on just

replacing the boots because of some people's skepticism to the aftermarket axles and because I had the boots on hand but I could never get the c/v joints apart off the inner end to slide the boots on. They are supposedly supposed to come apart pretty easily but I did not find that to be the case.
