Best bet for inexpensive is to buy a cheap VW part for the mechanicals and reuse the Porsche electronics after re-flowing the solder. Also I hear that the 1st gen Audi TT has a compatible latch, but have not confirmed. ...I have an Audi TT parts car, I should check.
