I have a friend who claims it is a bad idea to carry tools in the car because the car knows, and will force you to use them.
She drove a '78 MGB from Denver to LA and then up to Seattle, and on a subsequent trip out east to New England and back, all without a single tool or spare part in the car, and never needed them.
Of course subsequently she blew a fuel line about 20 miles from home and practically burned the poor thing to the ground, but, hey, stuff happens.

1. Passenger Seat
2. If passenger seat is occupied, bungee corded to rollbar and sitting on a bath towel. That's what I prepared for when I was driving back and forth to CA on vacation.

Of course, #2 only works when it's not raining outside and the top can be lowered for the ride to the tire store where a new tire can be put on the rim.

Ah, this makes a lot of sense coming from a person who drives an MG... one of the most undependable cars on the road of all time!

I though men wore cologne and women wore perfume! I just bought the new scents from Kenneth Cole and Armani. Great stuff. Prada had a nice product too. Maybe next time I'm at the store.
