Yes 11.0 to 1 is the static compression ratio. I am trying to figure the dynamic, that should be much lower.

DCR in the range of 8-8.5:1

Perfect thank you I am working on a super charger install and trying to determine if I am going to run into any issues at 6 to 7 psi boost.

Just remember that the DCR moves on these engines within a range because of the Vario Cam functions, and both turbos and blowers are a bad idea for these engines...................

Specially if you are leaving the bottom end stock (conrods & conrod bolts)

Or the pistons, and especially the piston rings. You do not just slap a blower or turbo (or nitrous for that matter) on an engine designed to run normally aspirated and expect it to live for very long....
