It has old world charm that you just dont get with the new stuff, at the cost of dealing with assemblies that are not quite modern in how they are installed. The 986 though feels similar ins size and agility and may even have better steering feel. Once you spend some time behind the wheel of an air cooled car, you'll know if its for you or not
