I have a friend who has a Cadillac Allante. Parts for them are difficult to find and very expensive. He belongs to an Allante club. When the members find an Allante cheap enough, they chip in, pick it up and stash it. Then when expensive parts go bad, they can pull from their parts cars rather than being held hostage by the dealer or the aftermarket. Not a bad idea...just a thought.

Works for me. If I drag one more P.O.S. car home, I'll be sleeping in it!

What is what? That piece of car in the foreground? It was a '67 Porsche 912. I found it in Sacramento and had it shipped all the way across the Country because it is completely rust free...pretty much unheard of. It's my winter project, but if it goes like most of my winter projects, it'll probably last for several winters. I have another red one, of which I don't have any photos. It's a cool little car, but a rusty pig. I wanted a really good one and couldn't locate exactly what I was looking for, so I thought I'd build my own from scratch. I never learn...
