No CEL: well, maybe the shop erased the codes and cleared the CEL for some reason. If so, it'll show up again after a couple of drive cycles.

So did the shop check the A/F on a dyno? If yes, what are the results if you don't mind me asking? If no, then how can the shop claim that the "car is boosting and running just fine"?

Ohio, I already told you, your crankcase if under vacum during idle, if your oil filler tube has come off, your vacum will not be too good, and your boost will lag. Your intake manifold connects to your engine crankcase and sucks the bad gases that the oil creates while hot SO if you have anyhoses from the block that have come off, like the oil filler tube or forgot to reinstall your oil dipstick, then you will have a vacum leak under idle and boost leak under acceleration. MYSTERY NO MORE!

Wish my car was running like champ.

I didnt know that you were sure, I do now. It just doesnt make sense to me.

Gary

I think they were just meaning that it was making the the right amout of boost per the gauge and it was running good. Both are accurate statements.

Thats fifth. Fourth at that speed would be at like 6 grand. A good rule of thumb for fifth gear is 3 grand is 75, 4 grand is 100, 125 is 5, and 150 is 6.
