SMK Shoe Registered User Join Date: Jul 2019 Location: Carolinas Posts: 108	2 piece rims Kinda new at owning a 986 with two piece rims. Question is does the rim have to come apart to have new tires installed. From what I can tell, the two piece is a inner piece that mounts to the entire outer rim. Not like a Hummer where the two halves ( sorta) mount together. Just trying to figure out if my usual shop can do the work or do I need to find a indy Porsche shop.
