You are only worried about it because you know about it. The car could have been red lined many times before you purchased it. Forget it and enjoy the car.

It's not uncommon for these cars to smoke on startup if they have sat for a while or if they were run for a short period and shut back down. Especially if the oil level is near the top of the dipstick. It is a Flat engine and a little oil can sit and seep at the bottom side of the cylinders - unlike a V or inline where it drains down.
