If it works, at least you've bought some time. You might be getting some detonation, use only the best gas. Going to a colder plug is OK if you can find one in the proper range. Too cold and you'll foul the plugs. Forget the irridiums, they're a marketing gimmick at a premium price, stick with OEM Bosch or Beru... Happy Motoring!... Jim'99
