No doubt the overall values are pretty stable. We all assume there are “tons” out there, but given there were only 164k 986s (standard and S) total produced worldwide, that doesn’t pan out to huge amounts. It would be very interesting to see what the death rate is for our cars these days. Keep in mind, the 356 was considered a throw away in the early 70’s...

Think of this, there have been 350,000 Macans alone delivered since 2014. 164k over both iterations of 986s over 8 years isn’t exactly a huge number...
