I was watching it too. At that price it must have been bought by someone who does not know the market.
From the photos, it's missing the fuse box cover, battery cover and frunk light. The coolant tank looks like it is yellowed and likely due for replacement soon. Cosmetically the car looks ok, but those missing pieces make me wonder about how well its been maintained. If I were selling I'd visit a local recycler and get those missing parts before I put the car up for sale.

No No No, you guys have this all wrong
This is it. I've been waiting in my cellar for this moment. The Boxster is now a collectors car. Prices will start to ascend through the roof like the last Air coolers.
I'll be able to retire from the profits on my 02 S with 103k miles. Maybe even buy a 914
Lets all not put our cars up for sale at once, that will keep prices down

Boxsters are undervalued. A well kept car should command a better price. You guys that naysay sound like MG owners. Don’t buy into the hype. I have a 1967 MGB. One exactly like mine sold at Barret-Jackson for 28K. People say the IMS is an issue. My Boxster is a 2004 with the engine and clutch replaced by Porsche at 52,800 miles. It now has 68,000 miles. I value it at 17 to 18 K. The engine was replaced. No IMS issue. As I recall, boxsters did quite well at that auction. Keep the faith.

I'm glad you value your car that high. Unfortunately, I'm not sure the market would agree. Maybe sell it on B-J when its time to sell!
