I hear you

yes one thing I immediately noticed as a difference between my Box and my 3 series is the Porsche is definitely more viseral feeling. You feel the road better, and it feels "rawer" (if that is a word) that the bimmers. But I don't look at a BMW as a real sports car either. It has 4 seats and real trunk, etc. Overall I think my BMW's feel rock soild and I love them. They have proven to be great cars, and in my 7th year of owning my E36 ( currently at 167k miles!!), it has given me very few problems and was totally worth the money I paid. I can't imagine getting rid of it for my daily driver. But a sports car, no it isn't.
