no worries

Not sure what to say - for advice. I bought my 98 for about half of what you are looking at. I just went to look at it for fun, Got seduced and bought it on the spot. No inspection, no records check, nothing. just a test drive. She needed a new top which I had done. Later on I was racing her at the local track and during my inspection I needed a motor mount and a sway bar. Also done. After that, minor stuff like brakes and a battery. Over a year and a half.
Very happy with it. Not my daily driver plan but now gets 60% use.

So, what that means is if she loves it, get it. Beat the dealership out of some future labor. It's for the fun. it's not her primary car, but it might default into that. And it's cheap enough.
