Help not starting , its not pump or relay

so ... i was a happy driver with a 986 2.5 ... one day it will not start :ah:, checked everything in forums and videos ... pump its working once i jump it from the relay port, i dont know if a new relay with solve the problem, note when i use the tester on the relay socket im not getting ground from one pin ... should i follow the ground to find a short=?? or the relay do some magic to make it work? srry for the broken english hahaha

If the jumper trick makes the FP fire up then it’s that relay. If the tach stays flat and doesn’t move it’s likely the crank position sensor. If none of those then I’d look at fuel pressure. Make sure pump is making enough pressure.

If pump works with jumper start car and see how it runs
I had relay go bad and car ran fine with jumper. New relay problem solved
