Well thats a bummer....

Pelican parts shows LUK is a Porsche OEM supplier. The LUK flywheel is about 1/2 the price of the 'genuine' Porsche one. Are they the same parts with different branding. Should I steer away from the LUK unit. Willing to spend the money if the Porsche part is actually better

May not make any difference to your long term solution, but this could be a bad pilot bearing. Either way tranny has to come off.
