I wrap cars for a living...

if the paint job is "iffy" with chips and/or flaking underneath, it will show under the wrap and likely remove the paint when the wrap is removed. Cost of materials for a boxster is about 300-400 dollars depending on color and I would highly advise using 3M, Oracal, or Avery branded products. I would personally not do the matte finishes unless you are very careful about how you drive as they scratch easily and cannot be repaired and if you buff the finish to hard it will become shiny...go with satin if you want a similar look.
