Water in Frunk....found a black hood ?????

Well the reason for the water is I forgot I left a new 1 gal of distilled water in the frunk...bad news during some spirited driving I turned it over and it leaked out. I removed everything and shop vac'd the water out...no rust on the metal under the carpet. I removed the fabric wheel over and found a strange black pouch that looks like a hood without eye slits ??

This is not the tool kit, not sure what it is .....but it was inside the fabric spare cover.

I now have the carpet removed and the hood up and a fan blowing on the surface to completely dry it out.

Not that big

One side is about an inch or so longer than the other side, it just fits over my head (yes I washed it first) and goes just over my nose ...strange

Agree w/ PW - it's the cover for the windscreen, which happens to be a bit wider at the top than the bottom.

OOPS, see you said it was not big enough.

I like that you got someone to take the picture for you, and didn't just do a mirror shot.
Involving another person adds an extra level to that pic.
