scary looking engine

I was browsing over on the auction site and came across this 996 for sale. It's listed as a 51,000 mile engine in "good working order"... Honestly, everything looks like it's plumbed in correctly, but I still wouldn't touch it with a 50 foot pole!!

I'll give you another reason: Those lines and solenoid valves running all over the place is a nitrous set up, so you can bet this thing has been flogged within an inch of its life.......

It looks like it has a new coolant overflow tank.

I'd worry very little about the IMS bearing on this particular car... given what else the nitrous would stress in that engine.

Jeez louise.

At least the owner didn't take out what could be seen and try to sell it as if nothing ever happened. Good on them for leaving the evidence in clear view.

What was the owner asking?
