Where to locate switched +12V in the trunk area...

...does anybody have a picture, showing the exact cable?
Books/descriptions help (me) only so much.
And it should be a safe, meaning cause no trouble due to a posi-tap.
Sounds like an easy task, but not for me
Thanks for any help in advance.

I installed a rear view camera in my '01 2.7 a while back. I got info from a couple places, but post 15 in this thread is one I remember:
stuck my voltmeter where it wasn't welcome

I installed a 1 Amp fuse link after the connection. It come from fuse block C fuse 1, 25AMP fuse supplied from 80 Amp fuse at distribution block near battery.
Here's a pic of my tap into the red wire with the blue stripe coming off of X59 plug:

Thank you, 78F350!

That was it, although my connector wiring layout seems a little different.
I "posi-tapped" a WIFI back-up cam (iOS/APPLE 6s Plus as a monitor) to it and it worked. I'll see if it causes any trouble

Good info, thanks Bran & 78F350

Something tells me I'll need that wire soon too
