I've swapped modules from car to car but keep in mind that the controller for a 97-99 is different from an 00-04. Not trying to give you crap but with no punctuation in your post, I'm not sure I completely understand what you've done or not done. How do you know the parking brake switch is ok? The light on the dash is not an indicator.
