convertable top issues

Have a 99 Boxster with 95k on it runs great top was working fine just stop working I can over ride it by removing the relay module and jumping it to open and close so I am on the hunt all ready check fuses good new micro switch on the top latch new control switch new relay module still no go does anyone know if the new control module has to be programed or anything I missed

There is a brutal procedure for reviving the switch - See Pedro's suggestion on his Forum.
Replacing this switch is tedious due to access issues. Best done when you upgrade to Ben's short shifter !

thanks but that didn't work either still trying to find out if the new module needs to be programed to my car what do you think ?

No programming required. I've swapped modules from car to car but keep in mind that the controller for a 97-99 is different from an 00-04.

Not trying to give you crap but with no punctuation in your post, I'm not sure I completely understand what you've done or not done.

How do you know the parking brake switch is ok? The light on the dash is not an indicator.

replaced :new micro switch on the convertible top latch, new control switch on the dash, new relay module ,new hand brake switch , but can over ride it by removing the relay module use jump wires to open and close the convertible top

need help on this one
