Cayman subwoofer wiring question

I have a Cayman footwell subwoofer that I'll be installing in my Boxster. I'm keeping the attached amp and I'll be wiring it to the subwoofer RCA outputs of my Sony head unit. I have a simple question...

CAI sells this wiring harness to connect the Cayman sub to an aftermarket head ubit (disregard the blue wire):

I have these RCA-to-speaker wire adapters from Ebay (but with male plugs):

So my question is how do I duplicate the CAI harness with my current Ebay harness? Do I merge red from one plug with red from the other (and black with black)? Or do I merge both wires from the same plug together? I'm guessing it's the former but I'm no expert at this...
