Javi,

I'm not familiar with the inputs on the Cayman sub/amp you mentioned, but if I understand correctly you're looking to use generic RCA cables to feed it. You're correct in thinking you should just run both the left and right output in parallel. (both red wires together/both black wires together and then to the amp)

The blue wire on the CAI harness is the "remote" wire. It feeds 12V+ to the amplifier as a signal to power on. You'll need that signal if the Cayman amp runs in the same fashion as most other aftermarket amps. Plan on including a remote wire in your install. There will be a blue wire in the harness at the back of your Sony unit. It will be labeled "remote" or "antenna." (some vehicles use that same +12V signal to power on a retractable antenna.)
