I am a person of simple tastes -

Jaguar E Type Coupe Series 1 with 4.2 liter engine, full synchromesh transmission and glassed over headlights

1960's Ford GT 40 Mk II

Cayman GT 4

Something Ferrari with a 12 cylinder engine and manual transmission

Sorry, but when I hear Singer in a discussion of cars, the first thing that comes to mind is always this. The Singer you guys are referring to is still a Porsche to me!

CGT. And another CGT, in a different color. They just got to sound identical.

Will always remember test-driving the only one we have here in Shanghai (friend-of-a-friend). Wasn't a dream car anymore, it instantly became an obsession and for weeks if memory serves well. Can still hear this car today, occasionally passing on the blvd nearby our condo. It is annoying each and every time I tell ya.

Dream boy, dream on

What can I say, I'm a Wisconsinite!

Seriously, my 01 Boxster S is my favorite of all the cars I've owned. Dream car with no $ constraints - in my youth it was the Lamborghini Countach. Now I +1 the 16 Boxster S. Daily Driver capability, peerless on the twisties, and luggage space for the long haul.

I'm kind of fond of the one in my garage.
I honestly don't think I could want much more.

I believe I have the car. These cars are balanced so well they have great potential. They just need a few of the right tweaks.

981 Boxster Spyder in Gulf racing blue with black wheels

Or the next Boxster they make with a N/A flat six, that'll probably be rather collectable if it's a limited edition.

Long term, if the EU collapses, maybe we'll get the flat 6 back in all Boxsters

hah! if the eu collapses perhaps we can buy back some of those air-cooled porsches that they've been gobbling up sight unseen for the past few years.

honestly, i can't really picture myself in a cgt or any other super car. i'd feel like a douche driving down the street trying to avoid potholes and speed bumps, any girl worth her salt wouldn't be impressed, i couldn't take it to the track, you gotta worry about where to park it (you'd be one of those guys taking up two parking spaces, right beside guido in his b!tchin' camaro) and everyone i know would quietly resent me.

perhaps an r8, a gt4, even that new flat-crank mustang, or something vintage - an air-cooled 911 (or a 356 coupe) something britsh (an mga or e-type) italian (an alfa jr, pantera, or a 355 - ooh a 512 bbi!!! - i like the 360, but apparently really big compared to the 3x8/355). there's a 348 that i might go test drive in a few weeks, and apparently you can remove those miami vice side slats for a less 'dated' look.
